Home remedies to treat acne


We give you home remedies to reduce acne and pimples


Tired of the regular zits that keep popping up every now and then? While if you suffer from an acute acne problem, it's best that you visit a dermatologist, you can bid adieu to a pimple here and there by following these simple home remedies รข€” just make sure you don't suffer from any allergies. Acne usually starts with blackheads, which are formed when oil along with dead cells gets stuck in your pores and turn black. The inflammation when it turns red are the unsightly pimples that all of us dread. While a regular clean-up will reduce your blackheads, here's what you can do to prevent them...

- Take a few pieces of jaiphal (nutmeg), mix it with some unboiled milk and apply the paste on your acne. Wash it off after about two hours.
- Make a mixture of cinnamon powder and honey and apply on your pimples before you go to bed in the night. Wash it with warm water when you wake up in the morning. Do this for a fortnight and watch your pimples disappear.
- Not only are oranges good for overall health, you can use orange peels as a remedy for pimples too. Grind the peels, mix them with a few drops of water and apply it on your face.
- Mix a tablespoon each of fresh lime juice and groundnut oil and apply it on your face to avoid blackheads.
- Leave fresh mint juice on your face overnight to tame pimples.
- Take methi (fenugreek) leaves and make a paste. Apply it every night for 15 minutes and wash it off.
- Take turmeric powder and neem leaves. Apply the mixture on your pimples. Leave it on your face for about half an hour.
- Take equal quantities of rose water and lime juice and apply the mixture on the affected area. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
- Make a face-wash by adding fresh lime juice to a cup of unboiled milk and using it on your face.
- Take some tomato pulp and apply it on your face. Leave it for 45 minutes and wash it off.
- Take a few drops of gulab jal (rose-water) and mix it with sandalwood. Apply the paste on your face and wash it off after 20 minutes.

27 Quick and Crunchy Home Remedies for Pimples

  • Dab a little lemon juice on it. The astringent properties in lemon juice will suck out some of the oil and shrink the blemish. Wash off before going in the sun, though, as this could bleach your face and make it more sensitive to the sun.
  • A teeny, tiny clay mask will fix it. If you need clay, go here (and you need clay, I promise):Mountain Rose Herbs. So a search for “cosmetic clay” and you’ll find that an entire pound is a whopping $4.95 (you might want to order another thing or two, to make the shipping worth it). Now, once you have your clay, take 1 tsp of it and mix enough distilled water to make a thick paste. Apply it directly to the blemish and leave on as long as you’d like (at least 20 minutes or all night long). I’ve seen pimples completely disappear overnight from this. Yeah. Really.
  • Use an itsy bitsy smudge of lavender or tea tree essential oil. Again, you can purchase these things at Mountain Rose Herbs. They’re great for a whole host of different things, and they absolutely annihilate zits. Use one tiny drop of either oil on a Q-tip and rub it on the blemish. Leave on overnight.
  • Make a paste with cinnamon and honey. Use approximately 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and add to the honey. Mix to make a paste. Apply to the blemish and leave on for 20 minutes (or overnight). Zit = zapped.
  • Rub a slice of potato on them. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes, or all day.
  • Tomatoes. Tomatoes. Tomatoes. Try rinsing your pimply face with fresh tomato juice. Leave this on for an hour before washing. Or, try the Homemade Tomato Juice Peel-Off Mask!
  • Apples and honey to the rescue. Grate a small bit of apple into a fine mush and add honey to make a sticky, fruity paste. Apply to the pimples and leave on for 20 minutes. Or, do your whole face! Wash well.
  • Try the Aspirin and Honey Facial MaskYou can do your whole face, or just tiny little spots.
  • Make a tiny mask with dried calendula and castor oil. Freaky, right? Oil for a zit. But castor oil is actually drying and the calendula will soothe the redness and the surrounding skin. Calendula can be purchased at, of course, none other than Mountain Rose Herbs (links above).
  • Make ice cubes out of green tea. Just rub one of those things over the blemish area two or three times a day. Swelling will go down, skin will be soothed, and the green tea acts as an astringent.
  • Pound an orange peel. Yep. That’s right. Take a small amount of orange peel, sprinkle some water on the pith-side and pound it with a (clean) hammer or meat tenderizer for 10 seconds. Rub the peel over the pimply areas (you could even tape it there for a few minutes for extra action).
  • Dab it with strong basil tea. Boil 1 c. of water and add 1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves. Steep for 10 minutes. Strain. refrigerate until cool. Apply to the pimples (or all over your face, if it’s oily).
  • Strawberries are yummy zit zappers. In addition to whitening your teeth, strawberries are excellent for occasional pimples (or acne). Slice the top off off a strawberry (eat the fruit) and rub the small amount of flesh left at the top of the strawberry on your pimples. Leave on for 20-30 minutes and then rinse off.   • Witch hazel and a cotton ball. Or any kind of fabric, really. Just soak the fabric with some witch hazel, hold on the blemish for a minute or two. That’s it. Astringent to the rescue.
  • Concoct your own pimple cream with lanolin, glycerin, and castor oil. Just melt, on very low heat, equal parts of all three. Store in a small jar. Apply it to pimples as necessary.
  • Make a poultice with dried hibiscus. Hibiscus makes a wildly delicious tea, but it’s also very effective on blemishes. You can have it both ways with this remedy! Just steep 3 tsp. hibiscus in 2 c. water. Strain (saving the hibiscus). Add a little honey to your tea and drink up. Then take the wet hibiscus, place it in a small paper towel or piece of cheesecloth, and apply to the pimple. Hold it there for 5-10 minutes.
  • Don’t be a vampire – use garlic. I know, I know. It sounds really stinky. Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that.  And garlic is pretty wondrous when it comes to clearing away the pimples. Peel a clove of garlic and then mush it up well with a fork. Apply the mush to your pimples and let it set for 20 minutes.
  • Spice it up with some nutmeg and cloves. Put 2 tsp. whole cloves and 1 tsp ground nutmeg in 1/4 c. milk. Heat on low for 10 minutes (careful not to scald the milk!). Allow the milk to cool. With a small washcloth or other fabric, apply the spicy milk to the pimply areas – or all over your face!
  • Splurge on some neem. Neem powder and neem oil are two magical pimple treatments, but they may be hard to find. Try Whole Foods, your local natural foods store, or Mountain Rose Herbs and pick up either one – or both. With the oil, just daub the oil directly onto the blemish. Or, with the powder, mix with a tiny amount of water or witch hazel to form a paste that you then apply to the pimply areas. Leave on all night for extra zit-busting effectiveness.
  • Rosewater and lemon juice – a fragrant remedy. If you happen to have some rosewater (if you don’t, you should get some … again, Mountain Rose Herbs or Whole Foods), take 1 tsp rosewater and 1/2 tsp lemon juice and apply to the blemishes. The rosewater will act as a calmative and helps repair the skin, while the lemon juice is astringent and drying.
  • Take your honey straight. At night, slather on a little honey over an extra-large pimple. Cover this with a bandaid, and sleep with the bandaid on. In the morning, remove the bandage, be amazed at the lack of pimple, and rinse your face well.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar. The good old standby, the liquid that does more things than Madonna (career-wise, I mean) – just dab a bit onto the affected area and let it dry. Leave it on for 20 minutes … or forever!
  • A sprig of mint’ll do you. Take one leaf from a sprig of fresh mint, rub it well between your fingers until it’s bruised. Rub the “juice” from the mint leaf over the pimple. Leave on.
  • Localized egg white mask. Just separate the yolk from the white, whip the white a time or two, and dab on to spotty areas with a Q-tip. Leave on overnight and wash well in the morning.
  • Aloe vera gel or leaf. For some time, I had an aloe vera plant in my home. Then I forgot to water it. For a month. Anyway, whenever I started to feel a pimple coming on, I’d break off a tiny bit of the leaf and rub the gel inside over it. Worked like a charm at heading off (sorry for the pun) the pimple. You don’t have to have a plant – just look for the purest aloe vera gel you can find in your local natural foods store.
  • Bruise some fresh cabbage leaves. Just mush ‘em up and rub them on the offending area. Leave the juice on for at least 30 minutes or more. Rinse off and finish with an astringent.
  • Dissolve some salt in lemon juice. If you want even MORE drying power than just straight lemon juice, try dissolving 1/2 tsp salt in 2 tsp lemon juice, rub on the zit and leave on (being aware that lemon juice is also bleaching and can cause sensitivity to the sun).

1. Lemon Juice

The acidic property of lemon can be very useful in treating acne at home. Lemon will clean dirt accumulated on the pores and will harden the sebum. Just take a slice of lemon and rub it on the affected area and leave it for few hours before rinsing your face with clean water. Another way to treat acne is to mix lemon juice with rose water in equal amount and then with this solution wash the affected area properly.

2. Toothpaste

The toothpaste that you use regularly to clean your teeth can also be used to get rid of your acne problem. Take small amount of toothpaste and apply it on acne before going to bed. The toothpaste will reduce the swelling and dry out the acne. Within a day or two there will be no acne at all. This is in fact one of the easiest home remedies for acne.

3. Tea Tree Oil

Another popular natural cure for treating acne is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil acts like an antiseptic and this can help in removing damaged skin cells by slightly irritating the skin. When tea tree oil is applied on the affected skin, it produces bacteria-fighting cells which help in treating the acne. Just apply one drop of tree tea oil to the affected area three times a day.

4. Fenugreek

The herb fenugreek can also be used in the treatment of acne. Take fresh fenugreek leaves and mix it with water to make a smooth paste. Apply the herbal paste on the affected areas and leave it for about ten to fifteen minutes and then finally wash your face with warm water. Repeat the process for three to four days to allow the acne to heal properly.

5. Aloe Vera Juice

The medicinal properties of Aloe Vera can treat the problem of acne in a matter of few days. You just have to apply the juice of Aloe Vera on the affected area twice daily. Aloe Vera juice is also helpful in healing the scars caused by acne. You can buy Aloe Vera juice from the market or use fresh juice from a plant by cutting a leaf from the aloe vera plant and squeezing the gel from the middle.

6. Indian Lilac

Indian Lilac or Neem can be used for the treatment of various skin problems including acne. It contains fungicidal properties and this is why it is very effective in acne treatment. Make a paste of tender Indian Lilac leaves by adding little water. Add some turmeric powder to the paste and then apply it on the affected area. This is one of the easiest ways to cure acne at home.

7. Honey

Honey has both antiseptic as well as moisturizing properties and thus when honey is applied on the affected skin for half an hour it makes the acne disappear within a few days. Try to rinse the honey off with warm water first and then use cold water so that the pores get closed. You can also make a face mask by mixing honey and powdered nutmeg in same amount. Apply this mixture on the acne and leave it for half an hour and then wash your face. Use this mask regularly to stop the problem of acne completely.

8. Cucumber

The cooling and soothing effect of cucumber will help in treating acne. Take one small cucumber and with the help of a blender make a paste out of it. Then add one teaspoon of yogurt and apply it on the affected area. Leave it for half an hour or more and then wash it off. Well, cucumber is one of the easiest treatments at home to get relief from acne.

9. Orange Peel

The acidic property and high Vitamin C present in an orange makes it the perfect element for treating acne. The orange juice as well as its peel can be used to treat acne but it is better to use the orange peel. Take the orange peel and allow it to dry under the sun. Take the dried orange peel and grind it into a powder form. Add water to this powder to make a paste and then apply it on the affected area. Allow it to sit for ten to fifteen minutes and then wash your face with warm water.

10. Grapes

Rich in vitamin C, grapes can be very effective when it comes to acne prevention. Try to include grapes in your diet regularly. In case you have acne, take fresh chilled grapes and cut them in half and then rub the flesh of the grapes over the affected area. Leave for ten to fifteen minutes and then wash your face with cool water. It will give you relief from the pain of inflammation and will also close the open skin pores.

-1 egg yolk
-3 teaspoons of honey
-3 teaspoons of lemon juice
-1 teaspoon of sugar
-1 teaspoon of salt
-1 teaspoon of olive oil

Put that on and leave it between 10 and 15 minutes depending on how much time you have then wash it off with hot water (as hot as you can take it) then when you've done that use egg white and honey on and leave that for about 10 minutes then wash off with cold water (as cold as you can take it)

I got good results almost instantly and after 3 days it was completely gone so decided to share it with you guys.

- mix 3 teaspoons of honey,
- 1.5 teaspoons of olive oil,
- 1 teaspoon if salt,
- 0.5 of a teaspoon of baking soda and apply to my face. So I let this mixture sit for 5-7 minutes and then I wash it off with cool water to close my pores. Do this before you sleep and wake up with amazing results.

-3 tea spoons of lemon juice,
- 1 tea spoon of salt
-1 tea spoon of sugar.
i would get a cotton ball and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes.

3)
- 5 tablespoons of honey,
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon,
-2 tablespoons of baking soda,
- and 1/2 of a lemon's juice.
Mix it together and put it all over your face. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes

4)
You prepare oatmeal for a face mask the same way you prepare oatmeal for breakfast. Take oatmeal and cook according to the instructions on the box. You won’t need to cook more than the equivalent of one serving. Allow the oatmeal to cool to room temperature. Apply warm (not hot) oatmeal over your face and leave in place for 20 to 30 minutes. After the oatmeal has set on your face, rinse off with warm water and pat your skin dry.
SERIOUSLY i didn't decide to post on this website until a few minutes ago when i noticed how great my skin is getting.
I started using the olive oil and honey first i even used it twice a day, in the morning/afternoon and before i go to bed then i found the others and mixed it up everynight and sometimes did it during the day when i wasent busy. All of these remedies are great for every type of skin because mine varies all of the time. Please try these after a few days you will be so happy.

AIR SERAI BERLIMAU

Bahan:
1 batang serai (kalau serai yg kecik guna 2 btg)
1 biji limau kasturi
1/2 sudu besar gula ~ tambah jika nak lebih manis
250ml air panas mendidih

Cara:
Ketuk bahagian pangkal serai hingga pecah2.
Letakkan kedalam gelas dan masukkan gula.
Tuang air panas mendidih dan kacau gula menggunakan serai.
Biarkan hingga suam2 panas (boleh diminum) dan perahkan limau kasturi.
Kacau dan sedia utk diminum.

~~DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH~~

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. How do I get my bowels moving naturally?

This is the big question. I will give you some simple, natural ways to get your bowel health back on track, but remember, depending on how long the constipation has been going on, it may take a bit of time to reverse and none of my suggestions include taking supplements. The following suggestions are for those who aren’t obese. If you are obese or have a large amount of extra weight then please skip suggestion 1-4 and go straight to suggestions 5-7.

1. Increase the amount of oil in your diet. Your bowels aren’t moving because you are dried out. You can replace the dryness by adding good, natural oils to your meals. This includes eating foods that naturally have oil in them such as avocados, nuts and seeds. For some people they could be eating these foods but still not having regular movements and to that I would say you still need more oil.

2. Avoid dry foods. Dry foods require more moisture to digest which means it takes it from your body. Eat foods that are naturally moist and or cooked but not dry. The worse foods to eat if your bowels aren’t moving are rice cakes, ryvita, popcorn, dried fruits, granola and museli to name a few.

3. Oil your skin. If your skin is dry this is a good indicator that internally you are dry and oiling the skin will help bring moisture from the outside in. Sunflower is a safe oil to put on the outside of your skin. Don’t worry about pimples or skin eruptions, basically if the oil is of good quality it will be absorbed by the skin and used in the body.

4. Avoid raw food. If your diet is based mostly of raw foods and you still aren’t having a bowel movement then you should come off the raw food until the bowels are moving again and then start with the raw food in the summer. It takes a certain enzyme to digest raw food which is completely different than the enzyme we need to break down cooked foods. During the warmer time of the year we have an easier time adjusting our diets to raw. Make sure you educate yourself about how to eat healthy if you do want to stay on your raw diet. You should be having regular full movements if you do eat raw foods and if you are missing bowel movements then I strongly suggest you seek advise or stop and get digestion back on track before you proceed.

There is yet another category of us who are very heavy and aren’t having regular movements. Here are my suggestion for you.

5. Give your body a cleanse. If you are heavy and have never cleansed your body then my suggestion is that you do. Cleansing requires some will power and so asking a friend or getting yourself a health coach would be recommended. You need to have someone you are accountable to in order for the cleanse to work. There are a few ways of cleaning the body:
  • Juice fasting: decide to only drink juice (that you make yourself) for a certain number of days. In the beginning you may want to try 1 or 2 days and then once you know you can do it you may want to increase it to a 5 day juice fast. I suggest you juice all organic fresh fruits and vegetables for your fast
  • Fasting: I know this isn’t going to be a popular choice, but fasting once a week has been proven to improve any health condition. Choose 1 day a week where you will drink only water and eat nothing solid. This will allow your body a break. Choose the same day every week to make it simple.

6. Avoid bread, pasta and cereal. This is high on my list of getting the bowels moving again. These foods tend to be heavy and create stagnation in the body and make you put on weight. We become addicted to the simple carbohydrate “highs” but what happens is after the high we have a very deep low and energy plummets. Avoid this by replacing your bread, pasta or cereal with whole grains.

7. Increase whole grains in your diet. Whole grains are complex carbohydrates that give us energy over time and are much more efficient fuel to burn. Whole grains include rice, quinoa, barley, millet, amaranth and oats. Yes, I said rice and I do mean white rice, but what I don’t mean is Uncle Bens or a quick cooking rice. Rice only needs about 20 minutes to cook and is one of the simplest food items to digest.

8 Penyakit Yang Boleh Sembuh Dengan Berjalan Kaki



Jika anda selama ini malas untuk berjalan, fikirkanlah kembali. Menurut satu kajian, berjalan boleh mengurangkan lapan jenis penyakit. Malah boleh menyembuhkan penyakit tanpa harus mengeluarkan wang.

Mulai sekarang rajin-rajinlah berjalan dan rasakan manfaatnya. Berikut 8 jenis penyakit yang boleh disembuhkan dengan berjalan :-

1. Serangan Jantung : Berjalan boleh mengurangkan risiko serangan jantung. Otot jantung memerlukan aliran darah lebih deras (dari pembuluh koroner ) agar segar dan berfungsi normal mengepam darah tanpa henti.

Berjalan dengan cepat boleh mengalirkan darah ke dalam jantung. Dengan sering berjalan , kolesterol baik (HDL) yang bekerja sebagai spans penyerap kolesterol (LDL) akan meningkat dengan berjalan kaki tergopoh-gopoh.

Tidak banyak cara di luar dapat mengubati seperti ini. Berjalan dengan cepat boleh menurunkan risiko serangan jantung.

2. Stroke :Satu kajian dilakukan kepada 70 ribu pesakit di Harvard School of Public Health yang bekerja sambil berjalan kaki sebanyak 20 jam dalam seminggu, hasilnya risiko diserang stroke menurun hingga dua pertiga.

3. Membakar Lemak :Rutin berjalan kaki akan meningkatkan metabolisme tubuh. Selain sejumlah kalori terbuang oleh aktiviti berjalan kaki, kelebihan kalori yang tersimpan di dalam tubuh akan ikut terbakar, kemudian kenaikan berat badan tidak terjadi.

4. Melangsingkan Badan : jika anda kelebihan berat badan, mulailah untuk rutin berjalan Pergerakan kaki hingga seluruh tubuh mampu menurunkan berat badan dan lemak yang ada terutama diperut anda akan terkikis. Lakukan berjalan kaki secara rutin selama satu jam.


5. Kanser : Gejala kanser akan lenyap dengan sendirinya jika kita rajin jalan kaki. Kanser yang dimaksudkan adalah jenis kanser usus besar (colorectal carcinoma).

Kita tahu, bergerak badan ikut melancarkan peristaltik usus, sehingga buang air besar lebih lancar. Kanser usus dicetuskan oleh najis tertahan lama dalam saluran pencernaan. Sementara dalam satu kajian lain, berjalan boleh menurunkan risiko terkena kanser payudara.

6. Mencegah Osteoporosis : Sering berjalan bukan hanya menyebabkan otot-otot badan menjadi sihat, rangka atau tulang di dalam tubuh anda juga akan menjadi sihat dan kuat.

Osteoporosis tidak cukup hanya dengan rutin mengambil vitamin D dan kalsium yang banyak, tubuh juga memerlukan gerak badan dan memerlukan waktu paling kurang 15 minit dibawah sinar matahari pagi dan anda akan terhindar dari osteoporosis.

7. Mencegah Kencing Manis : Dengan rutin berjalan kira-kira 6 km per jam, dalam tempuh sekitar 50 minit, mampu mencegah berkembangnya diabetes, khususnya pada mereka yang bertubuh gemuk (National Institute of Diabetes and Gigesive & Kidney Diseases).

Selagi gula darah boleh dikawal hanya dengan cara bergerak badan (brisk walking), ubat tidak diperlukan. Anda hanya memerlukan berjalan secara rutin untuk terus menjaga kesihatan badan dan terhindar dari diabetes.

8. Depresi :Berjalan kaki dengan cepat boleh menggantikan ubat anti depresan yang biasanya diminum secara rutin oleh pesakit depresi. Mulai sekarang, rajinlah berjalan kaki akan menyembuhkan pesakit yang tengah depresi.

12 Tips untuk mengandungkan isteri




1. 30 – 60 minit sebelum bersetubuh, pergi kencing dan bersihkan faraj dengan air sirih atau air garam buku ( garam asli ).

2. Setelah habis bersetubuh, jangan bergerak atau bangun. Terus tidur atau sekurang-kurangnya baring 30 – 60 minit, untuk memberi ruang kepada sperma untuk berenang-renang ketepian terus ke hujung fallopian tube dengan lajunya.

3. Jangan sekali-kali cuci faraj selepas bersetubuh.

4. Lakukan persetubuhan sekerap mungkin.

5. Lakukan persetubuhan pada tarikh subur ( Hari ke 14 ) sekurang-kurangnya 6 pusingan.

6. Sebelum pancutan air mani, batang hendaklah betul-betul tegang dan masukkan batang sedalam mungkin pasak sedalam-dalamnya dan pancutlah air mani dengan laju.

7. Lakukan seks dengan gaya dan teknik 'deep penetration' antaranya ialah teknik dari belakang (doggy) bukan liwat, di mana wanita duduk melutut dan lelaki memasukkan batang dari arah belakang sambil menarik pinggang isteri rapat ke arahnya. Teknik ini sangat sesuai jika si suami mempunyai batang kontot.

8. Menggunakan Teknik Tok Janggut, diasaskan dari cerita Musang Berjanggut yang mana teknik ini memerlukan kedua kaki wanita kengkang ke atas dan masukkan batang yang betul-betul tegang keras padu dan mantap terus ke faraj dari arah depan.

9. Menggunakan Teknik Che Siti Wan Kembang, teknik berasal dari Kuala Krai Kelantan ini terbukti berkesan dengan jumlah statistik mendapat anak yang ramai yang mana konsep adalah dengan melapik bantal di bawah punggung perempuan. Teknik Puteri Saadong dan lain-lain gaya yang difikirkan batang dapat menusuk terus rapat ke hujung rahim.

Mesti Baca - Apa Penyebab Sakit Jantung?

A MUST READ FOR EVERYBODY!!!

We physicians with all our training, knowledge and authority often acquire a rather large ego that tends to make it difficult to admit we are wrong. So, here it is. I freely admit to being wrong. As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience and having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact.

I trained for many years with other prominent physicians labeled “opinion makers.” Bombarded with scientific literature, continually attending education seminars, we opinion makers insisted heart disease resulted from the simple fact of elevated blood cholesterol.

The only accepted therapy was prescribing medications to lower cholesterol and a diet that severely restricted fat intake. The latter of course we insisted would lower cholesterol and heart disease. Deviations from these recommendations were considered heresy and could quite possibly result in malpractice.

It Is Not Working!
These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible. The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated.

The long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences.

Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.

Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.

Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.

Inflammation is not complicated — it is quite simply your body’s natural defense to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process, a condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.

What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers perhaps, but at least they made that choice willfully.

The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream diet that is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.

Let me repeat that: The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet recommended for years by mainstream medicine.

What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation? Quite simply, they are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.

Take a moment to visualize rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. You kept this up several times a day, every day for five years. If you could tolerate this painful brushing, you would have a bleeding, swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is a good way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now.

Regardless of where the inflammatory process occurs, externally or internally, it is the same. I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.

While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader arrived declaring war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed with omega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.

How does eating a simple sweet roll create a cascade of inflammation to make you sick?

Imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard and you have a visual of what occurs inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar, blood sugar rises rapidly. In response, your pancreas secretes insulin whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works.

When your full cells reject the extra glucose, blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts to stored fat.
What does all this have to do with inflammation? Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range. Extra sugar molecules attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation. When you spike your blood sugar level several times a day, every day, it is exactly like taking sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels.

While you may not be able to see it, rest assured it is there. I saw it in over 5,000 surgical patients spanning 25 years who all shared one common denominator — inflammation in their arteries.
Let’s get back to the sweet roll. That innocent looking goody not only contains sugars, it is baked in one of many omega-6 oils such as soybean. Chips and fries are soaked in soybean oil; processed foods are manufactured with omega-6 oils for longer shelf life. While omega-6’s are essential -they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell – they must be in the correct balance with omega-3’s.

If the balance shifts by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytokines that directly cause inflammation.

Today’s mainstream American diet has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That’s a tremendous amount of cytokines causing inflammation. In today’s food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy.

To make matters worse, the excess weight you are carrying from eating these foods creates overloaded fat cells that pour out large quantities of pro-inflammatory chemicals that add to the injury caused by having high blood sugar. The process that began with a sweet roll turns into a vicious cycle over time that creates heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer’s disease, as the inflammatory process continues unabated.

There is no escaping the fact that the more we consume prepared and processed foods, the more we trip the inflammation switch little by little each day. The human body cannot process, nor was it designed to consume, foods packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils.

There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state. To build muscle, eat more protein. Choose carbohydrates that are very complex such as colorful fruits and vegetables. Cut down on or eliminate inflammation- causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil and the processed foods that are made from them.

One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Instead, use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef.

Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labeled polyunsaturated. Forget the “science” that has been drummed into your head for decades. The science that saturated fat alone causes heart disease is non-existent. The science that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is also very weak. Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, the concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today.

The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations that in turn created the very foods now causing an epidemic of inflammation. Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favor of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers.

What you can do is choose whole foods your grandmother served and not those your mom turned to as grocery store aisles filled with manufactured foods. By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food, you will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.

Lemah tenaga batin atau juga dikenali sebagai mati pucuk merujuk kepada ciri-ciri kegagalan alat kelamin lelaki untuk menegang atau mengekalkan ketegangan sehingga mencapai kepuasan seks.

Ia juga dikenali dengan nama disfungsi erektil (ED) atau "impotens" dalam istilah perubatan.

Lemah tenaga batin, berkait rapat dengan tanggapan budaya kepada kesuburan, kejayaan, dan kelakian, mampu menyebabkan kesan psikologi teruk termasuk perasaan malu, perasaan hilang harga diri atau rendah diri, seringkali ia tidak perlu kerana dalam kebanyakan kes ia boleh diatasi.

1- Kurangkan memakan daging berlemak, telur, susu, ais krim, mentega dan keju.

2- Kurangkan menggoreng makanan, lebih elok ianya dipanggang atau direbus.

3- Lebihkan memakan ikan.

4- Kurangkan memakan makanan yang masin atau makanan yang diproses.

5- Makanlah banyak makanan yang segar, buah-buahan, sayur-sayuran serta bijiran segar.

6- Bersenamlah selalu selama 20 atau 30 minit sekurangnye 3 kali seminggu.

Menjaga Kesihatan Diri Adalah Tuntutan Agama


Islam adalah agama yang merangkumi semua aspek kehidupan. Ini termasuk penjagaan dari sudut kesihatan, di mana Islam amat menitikberatkan kesejahteraan tubuh badan sebagaimana Islam menjaga jiwa dan akal. Justeru itu, kita amat dituntut supaya menjaga kesihatan kerana "sihat" merupakan anugerah berharga dari Allah swt. Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

"Sesungguhnya kamu mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk menunaikan hak terhadap tubuh badan kamu" (HR Bukhari)

Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w lagi:

"Orang mukmin yang kuat lebih baik dan disukai oleh Allah daripada orang mukmin yang lemah" (HR Muslim)

Islam juga meletakkan kesihatan dan kesejahteraan di tempat yang pertama selepas keyakinan (keimanan). Ini berdasarkan sabda Rasulullah s.a.w:

"Mintalah kepada Allah kesihatan dan kesejahteraan kerana sesungguhnya tidak ada perkara yang lebih baik dari kesihatan selepas keyakinan (iman)" (HR Ibnu Majah)

Kita juga diajarkan oleh Islam untuk menjaga kesihatan dengan cara pencegahan sebelum ditimpa sebarang penyakit, seperti pepatah Inggeris "Prevention is better than cure" atau "Mencegah itu lebih baik daripada berubat".

Tetapi, perlu juga diingatkan, di samping kita menjaga anugerah kesihatan yang diberikanNya kadangkala kita diuji dengan sedikit kesakitan. Rasulullah s.a.w telah mewasiatkan kepada pesakit-pesakit supaya mereka berubat. Sabda Baginda s.a.w :

"Allah tidak menurunkan suatu penyakit itu kecuali diturunkan bersamanya ubat". (HR Bukhari)

Di antara perkara yg menunjukkan Islam menggalakkan penganutnya menjaga kesihatan adalah Rasulullah s.a.w. telah menyenaraikan beberapa jenis ubat yang boleh digunakan seperti madu, tumbuhan herba, berbekam, jampi syari' (amalan doa', ayat Al-Quran dan Hadis), dan lain-lain lagi yang tidak bercanggah dengan Islam.

Perubatan perlu dirujuk kepada mereka yang pakar dalam bidang ini, berdasarkan hadithnya:

"Jika sesuatu urusan itu berkait dengan hal-hal keduniaan maka kamulah yang mengaturnya dan jika ianya berkait dengan hal-hal keagamaan maka rujuklah kepadaku". (HR Ahmad dan Muslim)

Berdoa Meminta Kebaikan

Doa' adalah memohon kepada Allah SWT dengan meminta kebaikan dari sisiNya dengan penuh ketulusan hati dan penuh pengharapan. Pengertian ini dijelaskan oleh Allah dalam beberapa tempat di dalam al-Quran. Antara firman Allah Ta'ala maksudnya:

"Berdoalah kepadaku, nescara akan Ku perkenankan bagimu. Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menyombongkan diri dari menyembahKu akan masuk ke Neraka Jahannam dalam keadaan hina dina." (Surah Ghafir: Ayat 60)

Oleh itu berdoalah dengan penuh keyakinan diri bahawa doa' itu akan diperkenankan dan sentiasalah istiqamah didalam mengamalkannya.

"Berdoalah kepada Allah dengan keyakinan penuh bahawa doa itu akan dikabulkan ! dan sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengkabulkan doa daripada hati yang lalai & berpaling " (HR At-tirmizi)

4. Kemudian tepukkan kedua belah tangan ke belakang tulang sulbi menurun kebawah dalam keadaan duduk separuh atau berdiri tegak.

lebih afdhal amalkan amalan ini selepas solat subuh dan sentiasalah beristiqamah, semoga dengan amalan ini dapat menghindari dari penyakit-penyakit batin insyaAllah, dan apa yang dihajati akan diperkenankan oleh Allah Ta'ala, kerana ayat-ayat Allah ini adalah penawar, sesungguhnya sebaik-baik penawar kepada penyakit ialah ayat-ayat suci Al Quran. Sudah tentu juga, sebaik-baik penyembuh ialah Allah SWT.

Di dalam kitab Al-'Ilaj Bir-Ruqaa Min Al-Kitab Was-Sunnah, karangan said Ali Bin Wahf, menyatakan ijmak ulamak membenarkan menggunakan ayat-ayat Al-Quran untuk perubatan dan sebagainya, akan tetapi perlulah diyakini bahawa ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang digunakan tersebut tidak memberikan sebarang kesan zatnya sendiri. Bahkan Allah jualah yang memberi kesan ke atas sesuatu. Ayat yang di baca itu merupakan sebab dari sekian banyak sebab-sebab yang ditetapkan oleh Alah SWT.

MAKAN CARA SIHAT IKUT SUNNAH NABI

KITA berpantang dan mengawal tabiat makan apabila diserang penyakit. Lebih teruk jika doktor hanya membenarkan kita makan dalam kuantiti sedikit atau makanan tertentu.

Hakikatnya, amalan mengawal tabiat pemakanan selepas jatuh sakit adalah tindakan salah. Kita patut mengawal pemakanan seawal usia remaja, bukan apabila memasuki fasa 40-an.

Tabiat pemakanan yang boleh diteladani ialah mengikut sunah Rasulullah s.a.w. Jika dikaji, amalan pemakanan baginda amat bertepatan dengan al-Quran bermaksud: “… makan dan minumlah, dan janganlah berlebih-lebihan…” (Surah al-A’raf, ayat 31).

Petua menjaga kesihatan cara Rasulullah turut mengambil kira sistem tubuh manusia. Sebagai mesin, ia memerlukan bahan bakar iaitu makanan untuk membolehkannya melaksanakan kerja, tetapi kuantiti makanan yang masuk ke perut mesti dikawal.

Sebenarnya, menjaga dan mengawal perut daripada makan terlalu banyak adalah kaedah pencegahan penyakit yang berkesan. Sebab itu ramai ilmuwan perubatan dan tabib zaman lampau sering bermadah ‘lapar itu ubat’.

Mengambil makanan dalam kuantiti banyak adalah amalan buruk kerana ia memberatkan organ dan sistem pencernaan sehingga ia lemah dan tidak mampu mencerna secara teratur dan berkesan.

Makanan dalam jumlah yang banyak menyebabkan pelbagai penyakit. Justeru, kaedah rawatan dan pencegahan penyakit yang terbaik sepatutnya bermula dari perut – pastikan kuantiti dan jenis makanan yang masuk ke perut terkawal.

Nabi Muhammad ada menyebut ‘perut adalah tempat bermula pelbagai penyakit’. Selain kuantiti makanan, petua kesihatan Nabi turut mengambil kira isi padu makanan.

Baginda lebih mengutamakan makanan lembut, terutama jika baru sembuh atau melalui proses pemulihan.

Dalam satu hadis daripada Siti Aisyah r.a, beliau berkata: “Jika Rasulullah diberitahu si fulan sakit dan tidak ada nafsu makan, baginda bersabda: Berikanlah kepadanya ‘talbiinah’! Kata baginda lagi, Demi Allah, ia mencuci perut seseorang seperti kamu membersihkan mukamu daripada kotoran!”

Talbiinah ialah sejenis makanan masyarakat Arab menyerupai bubur atau susu. Ia lembut dan tidak membebankan perut. Bagi kita di sini, mungkin oat dicampur susu sesuai sebagai makanan yang lembut dan tidak membebankan perut serta fungsi pencernaan. Makanan ini juga kaya serat dan banyak membantu proses penghadaman.

Disiplin pemakanan yang diamalkan Rasulullah biasanya mengelak makanan itu mendatangkan penyakit kepada individu yang sihat, manakala bagi mereka yang mengalami masalah kesihatan, ia mengelak penyakit menjadi semakin serius.

Contoh peristiwa Nabi Muhammad s.a.w mengajar pemilihan makanan ketika sakit ialah sebagaimana hadis riwayat Ibnu Maajah dari Ummul Mundzir Qois al Anshoriyah, katanya:
“Suatu hari Rasulullah berkunjung ke rumah kami bersama Ali k.a yang ketika itu baru sembuh daripada sakit.

Kami mempunyai buah daliah (sejenis buah-buahan di tanah suci), lalu Rasulullah mengambil dan memakannya dan Ali juga memakannya.
“Baginda berkata kepada Ali: Engkau baru saja sembuh daripada sakit.
“Lalu Ali berhenti memakannya. Kemudian saya buatkan masakan dari gandum dan saya berikan kepada mereka berdua, maka Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda: Ali, nah, ini lebih sesuai bagimu!”

Larangan Rasulullah kepada Ali yang baharu sembuh daripada sakit agar tidak memakan daliah sebagaimana dalam hadis di atas adalah kaedah pencegahan atau berpantang.

Buah-buahan yang sifatnya mudah terurai mungkin memberi mudarat bagi mereka yang baru sembuh.

Ketika baru pulih daripada sakit, perut belum cukup kuat kerana ia sibuk bekerja menghakis sisa penyakit dari dalam perut dan badan. Sebaliknya, Rasulullah menggalakkan Ali mengambil masakan daripada gandum kerana air daripada gandum itu dapat menguatkan tubuh.

Namun, baginda membenarkan pengambilan makanan yang tidak sesuai, tetapi dalam kuantiti sedikit sekadar menghilangkan keinginan.

Perkara menarik mengenai kaedah makanan seimbang yang diajarkan Rasulullah ialah baginda tidak membataskan pada satu jenis makanan saja. Contohnya, baginda menyeimbangkan makanan bersifat panas dengan sejuk.

Dari segi komposisi makanan, baginda tidak pernah mengambil susu dan ikan atau susu dan telur atau daging dan susu atau antara makanan yang kedua-duanya mempunyai sifat panas atau sifat dingin serentak.

Baginda juga tidak mengambil dua jenis makanan yang mempunyai sifat cepat dicernakan dan lambat dicernakan, serentak.

Rasulullah tidak mengambil makanan yang masih dalam keadaan panas atau makanan yang disimpan semalaman, makanan awet atau diasinkan seperti acar kerana semua itu memudaratkan kesihatan.

Kita juga patut mengelak mengambil makanan segera dan minuman berkarbonat, walaupun sedap, tetapi memudaratkan apatah lagi mengandungi perasa tiruan dan sintetik.

Rasulullah gemar makanan yang mengandungi unsur manis semula jadi dan madu malah baginda suka mengambil buah-buahan sebagai makanan tambahan.

Mengenai madu, Nabi mempunyai disiplin pengambilan madu yang baik untuk dicontohi, iaitu mengambilnya pada waktu pagi sebelum sarapan.

Madu dicampurkan dengan air dingin sebelum diminum. Ini bertujuan mencairkan lendir dan membersihkan sistem pencernaan.

Selain jenis dan kuantiti makanan, satu aspek lain penjagaan kesihatan Rasulullah s.a.w ialah cara baginda duduk ketika makan, iaitu dalam posisi ‘mutawarikan’, iaitu meletakkan pinggul pada kedua-dua tumit dan menempatkan telapak kaki kiri di atas punggung kaki kanan.

Postur badan penting dalam menentukan kebaikan ketika pengambilan makanan. Contohnya, baginda melarang makan sambil bersandar sebagaimana sabdanya bermaksud: “Saya tidak makan sambil bersandar.”

Baginda juga melarang minum sambil berdiri, kecuali jika dalam keadaan terpaksa. Baginda mempunyai disiplin khusus dari segi minuman.

Berdasarkan petunjuk Nabi s.a.w, makruh minum selepas melakukan olahraga atau sebaik selesai melakukan sesuatu kerja berat atau sebaik habis makan atau sebelum makan. Semua itu tidak baik untuk kesihatan. Sebaliknya, biarkan beberapa detik berlalu apabila selesai aktiviti berat atau makan, kemudian minum.

Rasulullah s.a.w mempunyai petua unik ketika minum. Dalam satu hadis dari Anas bin Malik bermaksud: “Rasulullah minum dengan tiga kali nafas. Baginda berkata: Hal itu lebih melegakan dan lebih menyihatkan.”
Maksud bernafas tiga kali ketika minum ialah dengan menjauhkan bekas atau cawan dari mulut, lalu bernafas atau seolah-olah menghisap air yang sedang diminum. Larangan bernafas di dalam gelas ketika minum ditemui dalam hadis bermaksud:
“Jika seseorang di antara kalian minum maka janganlah bernafas di dalam gelas minuman, tetapi hendaklah direnggangkannya dari bibir.”

Dan, pasti yang paling penting dan mungkin dilupakan kita apabila makan atau minum ialah membaca ‘basmalah’ (membaca Bismillah) dan mengucapkan ‘hamdalah’ (Alhamdulillah) apabila selesai. Ia banyak keberkatan dari segi kesihatan.

Rahsia besar Rasulullah s.a.w yang patut menjadi teladan ialah baginda tidak pernah mencela makanan yang tidak disukainya atau kurang enak. Ini terkandung di dalam hadis bermaksud:
“Anas berkata: Rasulullah tidak pernah mencela makanan. Jika berselera dimakannya, dan jika tidak maka ditinggalkannya.”

Justeru, semua orang tidak wajar menunggu hari tua atau berusia lewat 40-an untuk memulakan amalan pemakanan sihat. Mulakanlah sekarang!

Kepentingan menjaga pemakanan dapat difahami daripada hadis Nabi saw yang diriwayatkan at-Turmudzi dari Abdullah al-Ashory, Rasulullah saw bersabda bermaksud:
“Sesiapa dalam keadaan badan sihat, aman dalam penghidupan dan ia memiliki makanan sehari-hari yang cukup, maka seolah-olah dunia ini miliknya.”

Senam Tingkatkan Prestasi Sex

1. Duduk bersila dengan menegakkan tulang belakang, Letakkan tangan di lutut dan biarkan bahu terbuka luas. Tarik nafas sedalam-dalamnya hingga terasa udara penuh didalam paru-paru. Biarkan udara di dalam paru-paru selama 7 saat. Kemudian hembuskan nafas secara perlahan-lahan. Semasa menghembuskan nafas perut mestilah di kempiskan dan tumpukan tenaga ke bahagian dada dan tundukkan sedikit kepala. Ulangi gerakan ini sebanyak 3 kali. Gerakan ini baik untuk dilakukan pada waktu subuh selepas bangun dari tidur.



Ini dapat mengeluarkan udara kotor yang terperangkap ketika tidur. Ia memasukkan udara bersih dan segar bagi menyihatkan paru-paru serta urat saraf. Ia juga dapat menambahkan kekuatan otot belakang.

2. Duduk dengan keadaan tumit tapak kaki bertemu dan hampir dengan zakar. Tarik nafas perlahan-lahan hingga terasa penuh udara di paru-paru. Semasa menarik nafas tekankan lutut dengan kedua tangan hingga lutut mencecah lantai. Buat setakat termampu. Luruskan lengan.


Kemutkan bahagian otot zakar dan tahan nafas untuk 7 saat. Hembus nafas dengan perlahan dan ulangi gerakan ini selama 3 kali. Gerakan ini dapat menambahkan kekuatan urat paha sert a menguatkan dada selain membesarkan zakar.

3. Duduk bersila dengan kedua tapak kaki ditemukan. Keuda tangan memegang ibu jari kaki kiri dan kanan. Rapatkan lutut ke lantai. Tarik nafas perlahan dan dalam sambil menarik ibu jari kaki dekat dengan kemaluan. Semasa menarik ibu jari tengan akan ditumpukan kebahagian otot belakang.

Lepaskan nafas sambil meletakkan kaki ke posisi asal seperti sebelumnya. Lakukan gerakan ini sebanyak 3 kali. Gerakkan ini dapat membantu menguatkan bahagian lutut, otot kaki, tulang belakang dan pinggang.

4. Dalam keadaan duduk, tarik kedua jari kaki supaya tumit terbuka ke arah depan, tapi belakang tumit ditemukan. Tarik nafas dengan dalam tapi perlahan. Selepas itu rebahkan badan perlahan-lahan tapi tangan masih memegang ibu jari kaki. Sentuh kepala ke lantai sekadar yang mampu. Balik ke posisi asal dan hembuskan nafas.

Gerakan ini menyeimbangkan paha, belakang, pinggang dan boleh mengubati masalah lemah tenaga batin.

5. Duduk bersila dengan belakang anda di tegakkan. Tarik nafas dan depangkan tangan kanan separuh bahu ke kanan dengan perlahan.

Gerakan tangan itu separas dengan bahu dengan menarik nafas secara perlahan. Gerakan tangan itu ke arah kiri pula. Anda akan merasa otot dada akan menghalang gerakan ini. Lakukannya sebanyak 3 kali
