Well the Malay simply should not. DAP is known to as the right wing to the Chinese community in Malaysia. They fights for more and more rights for the Chinese. Malaysia is the only country in the world that granted so many rights to the immigrants since her independence such as vernacular school separated by race. I saw some answer say DAP represent multi racialism but it is not true. You can see their leadership structure here as clearly racial biased. Here is the official one.
From the 60s DAP fought for Malaysian Malaysia just to abolished Perkara 153 of the Constitution. DAP oppose the idea of united Malay party. They slander the idea as being Taliban. The late Karpal Singh warned PAS to go over his dead body if they ever wanted a Syariah Law. Kulasegaran claimed that the Malays are immigrant. Ronnie Liew openly proud of his forefather communism despite of thousands killed in Second Malayan Emergency till early 80s. They were fighting the Govenrment of Malaysia on most of their time in the jungle. They even brought back the ashes of Chin Peng into the country who was never a citizen of Malaysia. When you thought it was the end of it, they organized a gathering of ex communist members. They never fail to scar the social fabric.
On contrary they survived on this land because diplomacy of the Malay when no other country willing to take them after the British refuse to cover the cost of transportation back to their origin countries due to heavily taxed by WW2.
Recently 70 years old declassified colonial documents described by Zaharah Sulaiman of ISTAC on how the British spent 100 million ringgit (somewhere 1 billion now) around 1951–1953 to build infrastructures for the 1 million brought here immigrants while the Malay and the natives left out of any development. Mind you those money belongs to the Malay and the natives from the wealth of the land. Malaya was the most wealthy land under British that support her WW2 campaigns. Some of the records also remark how British granted vast amount of lands to these immigrants including tin and other valuable mineral mines. The Malay lost around 500 mines taken by the British. Ships belongs to the Malays to transport and trade tins, golds and iron ores, like their forefathers did for hundred of years were burned down. Ship docks and repair destroyed. Then the British said if the Malays cannot manage those mines within a year then they will be taken even though those mines were never theirs to begin with. It were all then taken and given to the immigrants. Some details were left out to cut this short. Those wars between secret societies of Hai San and Ghee Hin around Lukut were all about acquiring these mines. That is how British treated the Malays, a race that is not easily submit. They left us a million immigrants to create instability in the future. They left Pattani and few other Malay states to the Thais. They left Kashmir to the Indian. They left Zionist to the Arabs.
While lands of the Malays are not allowed to be modernized and must be kept agricultural. The son of Tan Cheng Lock (MCA), Tan Siew Sin led and handled the land approval in Malacca and granted all 1430 applications. (extracted from EXCO papers (18–2–1953) Reference CO.1022/24 Applications For Land From The Inhabitants of New Villages). 1 million approved applications until the State Government at that time openly said that pressure on the land Offices was too great to deal with. In Kuala Terengganu, immigrant named Tan Gak Hwee given 2470 hectares of land. Ah Boon 1850 hectares. Yong Hwa 1235 hectares. Convert it to meters you will get millions. You cannot not see the other end of the land that huge. Land given to the Malays were very few, cannot be commercialized, only can be used as paddy field and only in rural area. High prospect lands is out of reach of the Malay. Those immigrants who were granted lands then mortgaged it to OCBC bank and some became straightaway millionaires. Then they started their businesses. States and Settlements issued lease hold title for periods of years varying from 10 to 99 years. Supposedly end by 2035. Their sad and humble beginning only for few years back in their origin country and during shipment. Yet DAP is fighting for permanent lease hold like we are seeing in Perak today. It was really the right question when ex PM Najib Razak asked `Apa lagi Cina mahu?’ (What else the Chinese want?). I read yesterday newspaper stating puppet Chief Minister of Perak sort of agree to grant permanent lease hold.
In Kuala Lumpur now, land titled Malay Reserved is only 1% left and Penang 0%! Only Kelantan & Trengganu obey the rules to never touch the Malay Reserve lands and they even added more lands. You can always check this facts.
The saddest moment in 1953 was when the Malays begged the Chinese taicoons for fund to build training centers for the Malays. 500,000 ringgit given, even though it is agreed as not the limit. The Chinese also mentioned that the Malays should not blame them for the economic plight but instead to blame the British. It was true back then. But it is no longer now.
Now we know where the wealth gap start. Wealth gap never end good. The Malays were sacrificed to give better life to the immigrants. It should be remembered and respected accordingly. Ultrakiasu is just not the way.
And there is no country in the world ever live peacefully ruled by minority. It is not the race that we reject, but the ideology. Be it MCA or DAP.
If you put aside all the histories for the sake of forgiving still you’ll find DAP is incompetent in administration. Ex CM of Penang now Ministry of Finance always brag about how Penang’s cleared 90% of her debt. Bear in mind their debt was cleared because Federal Government under BN helped to restructure Penang’s water assets in 2010 therefore cleared the RM655m state debt. Lim Guan Eng announced this agreement proudly in his blog here. Penang also sold 2,337.5 hectares of her land in recent 10 years including for the transparent ghost-like tunnel, God knows how many were the Malay Reserved lands involved.
Then DAP is just full of liars. Lim Guan Eng recently busted as only a provisional member (Australian Society of Accountants in Feb 21, 1984), far from chartered accountant as he used to boast about. His fight over GST clearly based on perception and lies. Now national income is short of more than RM20bil yearly due to the abolishment of GST. The DAP business tycoons who are funding the DAP are not very happy with how efficient GST is in collecting money even from black market. Few months back the idea to reinstate GST reemerged. Now you know whose policy is better. You name it, Lynas, Altantuya, Teoh Ben Hock, Morais. Najib Razak already cleared out of this IN PH RULED COURT. 24mil DS Rosmah ring, fake and edited DS Rosmah saving from childhood newspapers headline are all just lies. DAP have no boundary on this kind of dirty politic.
If you Malays still have the sense of belonging, love for your rights, lands and dignity then DAP is just not for you. If you’re the bunch of power mongering idiot politician who do not mind for their balls to be grabbed tight (like the `beliau’ type) then I just rest my case.
