Saaiduna Abu Umamah
Saaiduna Abu Umamah
says that when he searched for Ismul Azam in Baqarah he found it to be in Ayatul Kursi.
And when he searched in Surah Al-Imran he found it to be the words:
"ALLAHU LAA ILAHAA ILLA HU. AL-HAYYUL-QAYYUM"
"ALLAHU LAA ILAHAA ILLA HU. AL-HAYYUL-QAYYUM"
Allah! There is no good but He. The living; The Self-subsisting eternal. (Surah Al-Imran v.2)
And in Surah Tahaa he found it to be the words:
"WA ANATIL WUJUHU LIL HAYYUL QAYYUM"
And all faces shall be humbled before Al-Hayyul Qayym. (Surah Tahaa v.111)
From the aforementioned information we can derive that Ismul Azam are the blessed names of Allah and cannot be found in individual’s name.
